Ambuj Saxena's Corner

I was born on 2nd August 1984 in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) as one of the twins born to my parents. My twin brother's name is Ankur. My father is a Deputy Zonal Manager in Bank of India and my mother is Senior Manager in Allahabad Bank. I have a bachelors and masters degree from IIT Kharagpur, and am currently working for Shell India Markets Private Limited.

I did my primary schooling from a number of schools of Jabalpur (my hometown), Bhopal and Indore. I completed my 12th grade from St. Paul Higher Secondary School (Indore) in 2002. Some of my close friends during my school days are Shaunak Godbole, Kashyap Dixit, Chinmay Agnihotri, Akshat Gupta and Prateek Bhansali.

After schooling, I took admission in the Mechanical Engineering Department of IIT Kharagpur, with B.Tech. (hons) in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. My brother Ankur also took admission in the Computer Science and Engineering department of IIT Kharagpur (Dual degree course). Some of the closer friends from my college life include Suman Bose, Vikas Chandan, Aditya Singh and Vivek Kumar Choudhary.

I entered the "Real World" after my college education, when I joined Shell Technology India. As part of my job, I have had assignments in Netherlands and USA, which helped me see the world! Some of my close friends in Shell were batchmates from IIT Karagpur like Shubhasish Chattoraj, Sambit Sahu, Aditya Singh and Ravi Bharihoke. I also made friends with Sumit Parwani, Anurag Gulati, Ankur Pahuja, Arpana Singh and Ankit Chugh.
