I loved photography ever since I was a kid. My first personal camera was a compact Olympus. It was a film camera, and soon my parents got frustrated with me finishing off 3 rolls on a good day!

This got me my Nikon Coolpix L5, my current camera. It finally gave me the freedom to experiment with what I loved most. I prefer to photograph by myself, with no one around to hurry things up.

Blogging is also one of my long time hobbies. I maintain many blog posts. My personal diary is called Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and the blog with my socio-political opinions is called Devil's Workshop.I seldom write poetry any more, but a selection of those I have written are available at my poetry blog called Satanic Verses. I had also written an exhaustive dictionary of IIT Kharagpur's lingo, which I maintain at another of my blog. I will appreciate if you can give me a feedback on my blogs.

I like to make interesting stuff. As a child, I used to work with my brother and make interesting computer games and applications. These included Jharokha (a Microsoft® Windows™ clone complete with its applications and games suite) and Relations Manager (a Family Database Manager).

Among my recent projects, I have made a Portable Laptop Table, a Tetris Wall Magnet, and few other miscellenea. Here is a collection of some of the more creative stuff I made.

Google Maps Envelope

I made this custom envelope based on a idea I found at Yanko Design. Unfortunately, USPS didn't find it funny!

Facebook Auto-Tag

I made a frame similar to the photo tag on Facebook. Now I don't have to worry about tagging myself in Facebook photo albums.

I have been a long term Wikipedian, having joined Wikiepdia as an editor on 5th February, 2006. I contributed to a lot of articles, and many of them went on to become Featured Articles, i.e. rated by community as among Wikipedia's best. I am especially proud of Indian Institutes of Technology, IIT Kharagpur, Nathu La and Indian Standard Time articles. For more information, please refer to my Wikipedia Profile Page.

Cooking is another of my recent hobbies. I started cooking when I was forced to, having to live by myself in Mobile, Alabama, USA. I found that I loved it and started experimenting with a lot of dishes. Here's a selection of some of my creations. Hope you find them appetizing. :)
